Recommended Replacement Interval

Condition Supplier Guidance
Normal Driving Approx. 12–18 Months or 10,000–15,000 Miles
Dusty / Polluted Environments Inspect More Frequently and Replace Earlier if Needed

Actual service life depends on climate, road conditions, HVAC usage and filter contamination.

Signs Your Filters May Need Replacement

Musty or Unpleasant Odors
Persistent smells while the climate system is operating can indicate that the filter media is dirty or saturated.

Reduced HVAC Airflow
A heavily loaded filter can restrict airflow through the climate-control system.

Increased Interior Dust
More visible dust inside the cabin may be a reason to inspect the existing filters.

Frequent Dust or Construction Exposure
Driving regularly in heavily polluted or dusty environments may shorten the normal service interval.
