Lunar Espresso Blend.
A Modern Dark Roast for the Third-Wave Palate. The Original Returns. Here to Stay.
Notes: Chocolate • Caramel • Toffee • Creamy Body
After experimenting with multiple versions of Lunar, one thing became clear—the original was still your favorite.
So we listened.
After testing multiple versions of Lunar, the original remained the clear favorite. We've brought it back with fresh-crop coffees and made it a permanent part of our lineup.
Lunar Espresso Blend returns as the blend that started it all, and this time it's here to stay. Rather than reinventing what already worked, we'll continue sourcing fresh-crop coffees throughout the year while preserving the rich, balanced profile that made Lunar a customer favorite. The origins may evolve as harvests change, but the experience in your cup will remain unmistakably Lunar.
Built on the chocolate richness of Guatemala and the caramel sweetness of natural Brazil, Lunar delivers a bold yet refined cup with layers of milk chocolate, buttery caramel, and toffee wrapped in a silky, creamy body. Roasted to a true third-wave medium-dark profile, it offers all the depth of a traditional dark roast without masking the character of the coffee underneath.
Originally crafted for espresso, Lunar produces dense, syrupy shots with exceptional sweetness and enough structure to cut through milk beautifully. Yet it's equally satisfying as drip, French press, or Moka Pot, making it an everyday coffee whether you're pulling espresso or brewing a full pot.
This is the blend our customers asked us to bring back—and the one we're proud to keep roasting.
☕ Roast Level: Third-Wave Medium-Dark
🌓 Tasting Notes: Milk Chocolate • Caramel • Toffee • Creamy Body
🌌 Best For: Espresso, Drip, French Press & Moka Pot
🔥 Perfect For: Coffee lovers who want bold richness without bitterness
Resting Recommendations:
7-14 days from the roast date for espresso and 7 days for drip. We dove in early (12 hours old) on espresso and drip and were still very pleased but will improved with some age. Dont be afraid to dive in early!
Roast Level:
Medium - Dark - 15.3% weight loss Whole bean color 65 Ground color 93 (Lewbrew) higher # is lighter in color. Our goal is to bring as much sweetness and character of the bean forward without over roasting the flavors out of the bean. We like to drop this bean around 35 degrees after first crack.
