Our barley risotto is made using milled granules of the whole grain barley. Cooking at a low temperature and stirring often allows the starch to be released from the grain creating a creamy texture. Cheddar and jalapeño flavors are a perfect combination to create this tasty meal for a quick, convenient, and nutritious meal. The jalapeños in this mix are not overly spicy and brings out more of the complimentary jalapeño flavor with the cheddar cheese.
